Manufacturing Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) Program

Manufacturing Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) Program

Senior leaders in manufacturing face a persistent challenge: the most skilled technician is promoted to supervisor, but the technical expertise that earned them the role does not automatically translate into effective manufacturing leadership.

You risk losing a top-performing operator and gaining an undertrained, overwhelmed manager. This creates a critical gap in your manufacturing leadership development pipeline, impacting team morale, retention, and productivity.

The LEAD Certification (Leadership in Manufacturing)

Marian University has designed a solution to bridge this manufacturing leadership training gap. The LEAD Certification is a 100% online, self-paced manufacturing management course built to equip your high-potential employees with essential manufacturing leadership skills, communication, goal setting, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills they need to lead successfully.

Because the program is fully online and self-paced, you can upskill your leaders without pulling them away from the production floor.

This flexible manufacturing leadership online course format eliminates operational downtime, works for all shifts, and provides a scalable, consistent industrial leadership training model for your entire organization.

This program provides a clear and highly cost-effective path to:

  • Promote from within with confidence.
  • Improve shop-floor communication and conflict resolution.
  • Reduce supervisor turnover and boost team engagement.
  • Build a consistent leadership culture across all shifts.

The LEAD Certification consists of four targeted courses. At just $300 per course, this is a low-risk, high-return investment in your organization's most valuable asset.
