Biography

Stephanie Xayamath, '95, MSN, RN, is the assistant director of simulation at the Hill-Rom Simulation Center of Marian University where she oversees daily operations of the nursing simulations and skills labs, ensuring activities run as efficiently as possible while maintaining the highest level of fidelity. She will also be found assisting professors in the nursing skills labs with check-offs or assisting students with skills practice in the Hill-Rom skills practice room.

Xayamath graduated with her BSN from Marian College in 1995 and worked for Franciscan Health in Cardiac Critical Care, Intensive Care, Cardiac and Vascular Observation, and Rapid Response Team for 24 years before coming back to Marian. She has also worked as adjunct nursing faculty at Marian prior to her current position. She graduated with her MSN (Ed) from the University of Indianapolis in 2021 and did her final presentation topic about simulation, where she used her desire to teach in combination with her passion for simulation. Stephanie is an Indianapolis native and lives on the Southside with her husband and two children. She loves the outdoors, vintage shopping, and coffee shops.
