Congratulations to Kirk Cabana as Marian University Ancilla College (MUAC) has named him as Interim Athletic
Director. Cabana will oversee the college’s eight men’s and nine women’s NJCAA and MCCAA
sports programs. He replaces Brian Pearison, who left for an assistant athletic
director position at Honolulu’s Hawaii Pacific University.
Prior to
being named Interim Athletic Director, Cabana served as Ancilla College’s head
baseball coach. Before that, he spent three years as assistant baseball coach
and recruiting coordinator for Carolina University in Winston-Salem, North
Carolina. During his tenure at Carolina University, the baseball team was named
NCCAA South Regional Champions and participated in the NCCAA world series.
Cabana holds an associate’s degree in kinesiology; a bachelor’s degree in
general students; and a master’s degree in educational, school and counseling
psychology.
