Knight Daze to be Held February 13-16

Marian University, the student alumni association, and the Knight Daze student committee are proud to bring you Knight Daze 2013: Winter Wonderland. Join us for this winter homecoming and help us celebrate winter sports. Marian University’s Board of Trustees, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their families are all invited. We hope you can join us!

5:30 p.m. Pregame Activities
Physical Education Center, Foyer
Enjoy some free activities before the game. The first 50 fans will get a pair of socks. Get some food, visit the bookstore, or paint your face in preparation for the game.

7 p.m. Women’s Basketball vs. University of St. Francis
Physical Education Center, Main Gym
Cheer on the Knights and help us win the first victory of Knight Daze. Try your hand at winning prizes during a number of activities.

10 p.m. Late Knight Special
Clare Hall, Barbara B. Cooling Dining Center
Join us for some late night snacks in the dining center for only $3.


9 p.m. Game Night
Physical Education Center, Upper Gym
Participate in different tournaments including Knockout, Cornhole, Hillbilly Golf, Dodgeball, and more. You just might win a prize!


7 p.m. Basketball Jam
Physical Education Center, Main Gym
Watch the students take on faculty, staff, and alumni in this annual basketball showdown.

8:30 p.m. Knights after Dark
Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library
Relax with some coffee and enjoy some entertainment.


Noon Tailgate Lunch
Physical Education Center, Upper Gym
Enjoy a tailgate-style lunch for only $6.25 per person and participate in some fun pregame activities.

2:45 p.m. Special Presentation Honoring Retired Coach John GrimesCoach John Grimes

Physical Education Center, Main Gym
Coach Grimes dedicated his career to Marian University with 36 seasons as head coach of the men's basketball team and 26 years as director of athletics. 


3 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs. Bethel College
Physical Education Center, Main Gym
Cheer on your Knights and compete for prizes in the fun activities to be held during the game.

7 p.m. Six Appeal
Marian Hall, Marian University Theatre
Wrap up the day with Six Appeal as they sing a cappella a selection of classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy original tunes.
