Freshmen-Alumni Dinners Coming Soon

by John Armitage | Nov 27, 2012
Sign up to host a group of freshmen for dinner in your home on Sunday, August 21, 2011.
Every year on the Sunday evening of welcome week at Marian University, alumni in the Indianapolis area have the opportunity to open their homes to groups of freshmen, giving them a chance to enjoy a meal with Marian University's newest students, share advice, talk about their own college experiences, and much more. These freshmen-alumni dinners have become a favorite tradition for both freshmen and alumni. They are a great opportunity for alumni to reach out to students on a different, more personal level. This event is unique to Marian University, whose small size and tight alumni community allow students and alumni to forge connections early on.   This year's dinners will take place on August 21, 2011. Students will arrive at host locations between 5-6 p.m. and usually return to campus by 9 p.m. If you are interested in hosting a group of freshmen for dinner, please email Barbara Stuckwisch, Director of Alumni Relations with the following information:Name(s) of hostsContact phone numberAddress of hosting locationDistance from Marian UniversityCan you provide transportation? How many students can you host?
