Founders’ Week 2025

Monday – Friday:

• Stop in Clare Hall 127 to make a card(s) for one (or more) of the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg
• Spend 10 minutes outside praising God for the wonders of creation remembering that Francis wrote the Canticle of the Creatures as a way to praise God.
• Participate in a campus Mass or other prayer opportunity, remembering that Francis and Clare shared a great devotion to prayer.
• Perform an act of service for someone in need reflecting Francis and Clare’s call to be of service to those around them.

Thursday: Enjoy the German Heritage Meal in the Dining Commons remembering the heritage of Mother Theresa Hackelmeier and the residents of Oldenburg, IN.

Friday: Attend the All Campus Mass @ 11 AM; Celebrate Transitus @ 7:30 PM in Alumni Hall

Saturday: Come, without or without a pet, to the Blessing of the Pets @ 10:30 near the Amphitheater; Attend the Outdoor Mass @ 11 at the amphitheater with your well-behaved pet.

Sunday: Participate in Franciscan Fest beginning with Mass at 10:30 in the BCMC
