C.A.U.S.E. Councils

While in the Mentor Services Program or after Marian University offers the school leader and the school at which they work, the opportunity to establish a C.A.U.S.E. Council to provide continued support.

The creation of a C.A.U.S.E. Council correlates with the Community Schools Movement, which is a strategy for uniting and organizing community assets and resources around student success. Marian University also places an emphasis on ensuring that schools provide a modern education that is focused on 21st century skill sets and capacities Marian University works in conjunction with the Midwest Center for University-Assisted Community Schools to provide this service for its school leaders.

The purpose of the council is multidimensional:

  • To support the successful leadership of Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership school leaders.
  • To advocate for schools and neighborhoods through collaborative action.
  • To assist schools and neighborhoods in quality improvement and engagement.
