Biography
I earned my B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University, followed by a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University. I am a Counseling Psychologist registered in the states of New York and Indiana, with experience working with women and children who experienced Intimate Partner Violence, Latinx women in outpatient settings, college counseling settings, and inpatient/residential settings focusing on addiction and mental health concerns. My primary areas of teaching include clinically-focused and applied courses. Additionally, I serve on the Executive Board for the Advancement of Women in Psychologyorganization and as Co-Editor of Women & Therapy journal.
