Biography
Kristopher D. Steege received his B.A. in 1995 from South Dakota State University where he double majored in Art and Communications, Studies, and Theatre. He completed his M.F.A. in Scenic Design for Theatre in 1998 at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Prof. Steege has been teaching, designing, and building shows for the theatre program at Marian University since the fall of 1998. When he is not busy at Marian or with his family, Kristopher also works professionally as a freelance scenic designer and scenic painter. Some of his local recent designs include work for Fonseca Theatre, American Lives Theatre, South Bank Theatre, Summer Stock Stage, Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, and the University of Indianapolis.
