Karla Kinkade, Ph.D.

Biography

I earned a B.A. in Chemistry at Hanover College and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at Indiana University School of Medicine. I continued my studies as a postdoctoral research scientist at the Herman B Wells Center of Pediatric Research at IUSM, studying the structure and function of the phagocyte NADPH-oxidase flavocytochrome b558. I am also certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. My teaching expertise centers on Microbiology, Immunology, and Epidemiology.
