Benjamin Fritch, M.S.

Biography

I received my B.S. from University of Evansville in Chemistry and Physics. I went on to complete my M.S. in Chemistry from Penn State and used computational techniques to answer questions about biological systems. At that point, I wanted to be a full-time researcher. However, during graduate school, I had the opportunity to work directly with motivated high school students from low-income families as well as undergraduate students. The objective was to have my students completing research in my field of study in the time span of one summer. By the end of the summer, my students were completing their own computational simulations. The feeling of guiding students to think in a new way inspired me to teach high school students as a career. Now, I teach secondary Chemistry and Physics in Indianapolis. Teaching seems to be both my profession and my hobby!
