At Marian University, our communication program prepares students to become thoughtful, skilled communicators ready to thrive in today’s fast-paced media and professional landscapes. Students choose from two dynamic tracks tailored to their interests and career goals:
📷 Creative Media and Journalism
Dive into storytelling across platforms—print, digital, audio, and video. This track builds strong foundations in reporting, media writing, editing, digital journalism, and media production, preparing you for a career in news, media, or content creation.
💬 Health & Strategic Communication
Blend communication theory with real-world application. This track focuses on how communication shapes public health, organizations, and communities. You'll study digital strategy, campaign planning, persuasive messaging, and professional speaking to prepare for roles in healthcare communication, PR, or advocacy.

Student Media empowers students to publish, produce, and broadcast across three outlets:

Each group is student-led and faculty-supported as a 1-credit course. No matter your major — this is your space to create and collaborate.
