Biography
John T. Noble has served as associate professor of theology at Marian University since 2019. He holds Ph.D. and A.M. degrees from Harvard University, Dept. of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, with a focus on Hebrew Bible. His primary research area is in the literature and theology of the Pentateuch, including A Place for Hagar’s Son: Ishmael as a Case Study in the Priestly Tradition (Fortress, 2016), and a current commentary project on Leviticus with Baker Academic.
