Jenny Ambroise

A Marian University alum, Jenny returned home to teach after living in Iowa for several years. While living by the Mississippi river was beautiful, she was elated to be able to come back to the Marian community. She enjoys the diversity of ideas and collaboration that she has experienced both as a student and now a professor.

Jenny loves traveling and being exposed to the art, language, cuisine, and general culture of different countries. Her love of travel began as a Marian student studying abroad. When she stepped off the metro and saw the gigantic Roman Colosseum for the first time, she was hooked. She has traveled from Morocco to Turkey and many countries in between. Jenny has been lucky enough to travel to Haiti more recently, and Haitian art is of particular interest to her.

The other loves of Jenny's life include her two daughters Solange and Estelle, and her husband Yves, who is a psychologist and gives Jenny insight into all sorts of interesting human behavior.
