EWECAWriting Center Tutors are undergraduate students from a wide range of majors and interests. They work one-on-one with students and community members face-to-face in the Writing Center, online via email tutorials, and at specified locations around campus and Indianapolis. Tutors have committed to ongoing tutor training including a required credit in ENG 260: Responding to Student Writing, present at regional and national conferences, and partake in shared governance of the Writing Center. Interested in joining the Writing Center Staff?

Apply online through KnightWork. Include a current resume with two strong writing samples and two letters of recommendation from Marian University Faculty. A member of the Student Leadership Board will contact you to schedule an interview. The interview process is informal (typical school-day dress will do) and lasts an hour or less. Applicants are encouraged to inquire about the culture of the Writing Center and ways that they can enrich the environment and pursue their own intellectual curiosities.
