The Writing Center Syllabus Policy
The Marian University Writing Center is pleased to offer a range of services including Spanish language writing tutorials, writing workshops, multimodal/digital writing, and graduate student tutorials, both in person and online. Tutors are available to help develop ideas before writing them down, discuss strategies for organizing, and assist with charting revisions and edits.
Walk-ins are always welcome to meet with a Writing Center peer and graduate tutor at our location in the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library. However, appointments may be created by visiting marian.edu/writing-center and are recommended (especially during peak demand times). The Writing Center focuses on collaborative development in writing, so you should expect to engage in conversation with your tutor to discuss your work.
For the protection of our university community, masks may be required to enter the Marian University Writing Center.
Helpful student resources, as well as more information about the Writing Center’s services, are available at marian.edu/writing-center.
