Residential and Commuter Life strives to provide all students with a space to build connections and improve campus operations for the benefit of the student. As such, the office works to identify vacancies to consolidate residential spaces.
Consolidation is residential reassignment that occurs in response to a specific situation, including the following:
The expectations for this process will be communicated the 3rd week of the semester and moves will start the 4th week. For rooms that are identified for the room consolidation process, multiple options are available. These may include:
In the meantime, if there is a vacant space, please make sure to leave the space open for a new assignment.

Note: Residential and Commuter Life (RCL) reserves the right to consolidate vacancies and/or reassign students, if necessary, for the most effective use of residential spaces. RCL will work with students involved in the consolidation process to determine the best option for them.
