At Marian University, advising is a collaborative process that encourages students to take ownership of their academic experience by exploring dreams, identifying goals, and developing meaningful academic plans. Academic advisors provide advice and support to students as they navigate the path to academic success and graduation.

Refer advisees to appropriate campus resources
Help advisees discover their strengths, skills, and abilities
Celebrate advisee successes and challenge them to reach their full potential
