Alternative Break Updates: Nicaragua #1

by Adam Setmeyer | Mar 11, 2014

Hi family, friends, and loved ones of Marian's ASB Nicaragua participants,

I wanted to send out one last email before we leave for the people who have recently been added to the email list. So if you are receiving this email, you will be receiving daily updates from our Nicaragua Mission. (Hopefully - please pray for good internet connection!) :)

We are meeting to leave in 11 hours. 4 A.M. Eastern time! It will be an early morning but it's definitely worth the sacrifice of a little sleep. This next week will be filled with decisions to be selfless and choose sacrifice. Marian's ASB Program's motto for this year is "Get comfortable with being uncomfortable." We will definitely have chances to do just that. So please keep us in your prayers! Know that your loved ones are in good hands.

Don't forget that you can be "missionary" every day, wherever you are. You don't need to be in a foreign country to be selfless, step out of your comfort zone, and love people. :)

Have a beautiful weekend! We love y'all!

In Christ,

Rachel Garzon
