In the article "Thank you for letting me be your physician," Daniel Gelfman, M.D. emphasizes how emotionally valuable receiving patients' trust is to the practicing physician. Dr. Gelfman is a clinical professor emeritus of medicine at the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he remains active teaching clinical medicine and pursuing scholarly activities. His research interests currently include developing effective teaching methods and combining the humanities with medicine.
