BSN program admission and curriculum requirements

  1. Apply online for admission to Marian University at
  2. For automatic acceptance as a pre-nursing student:
    • First-time freshmen: You must have the appropriate high school GPA and test scores
    • Transfer students: You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher with no attempts at any equivalent prerequisite science courses.

Direct admission eligibility

  • To be eligible for direct admission, you must have at least a 3.50 high school GPA and 1170 verbal/math SAT or 24 ACT composite scores.
  • If accepted for direct admission, after successfully completing nursing prerequisite courses and meeting our minimum academic requirements, you will be guaranteed a seat in the clinical portion of the BSN program.
