Zach grew up in Palatine, Illinois, which is about 30 minutes Northwest of Chicago. He graduated from Palatine High School in 2011 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a minor in Sociology from Concordia University Chicago. Currently, Zach is pursuing his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine.

Zach comes to Marian with experience working in ministry and three years of experience as an Associate Director of Admission at Concordia University Chicago. His work experience has found him regularly walking with young adults facing a variety of issues, and he understands the complexity of working with students and their families during such a transformative time in their lives. He enjoys being a part of such an important process and is happy to help guide you through all the complexities that come with it.

Zach was drawn to Marian because he believes in the value of a private, liberal arts education and the community that Marian is home to. He believes in quality over quantity, and that education should involve positive character transformation. All of which he sees at Marian.

Zach lives in Noblesville with his wife, Rachel, and their dog, Banjo. Zach grew up playing hockey and enjoys watching the Blackhawks. Zach enjoys playing disc golf and bouldering with his wife in his free time. They also love to find the best coffee shops, walk, hike, and camp as often as possible.
