Daniela is a southside Indy native that graduated from Perry Meridian Highschool. She pursued her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Marian University. Throughout her college search, she sought a university that was close to home and provided a personalized learning experience. It was her interactions with students and faculty members during her visit to campus that made her realize that Marian was the perfect fit.
During her time at Marian, Daniela served as a presidential ambassador, speaking studio consultant, supplemental instructor, and student senator for the international club. Through these experiences, she was able to appreciate different aspects of collegiate life and become connected to a variety of student organizations on campus. Her interactions and attendance at workshops and retreats offered at Marian fueled her appreciation for higher education. Daniela now serves as the recruiter for the Latin@ Leadership initiative where she hopes to walk in accompaniment and serve as a resource for students seeking to learn more about Marian University and the admissions process. Daniela encourages prospective students to explore the university and delve into the resources offered on an academic and personal growth level.
Her favorite aspect of Marian University is the mission implemented to help create transformational leaders on campus. This vision for the University extends to supply growth opportunities for each student through countless resources on campus including The Exchange, leadership workshops, speaker series, and service opportunities.
In her free time, Daniela enjoys going on hikes with friends, reading, listening to podcasts, and exploring antique shops.
