Ally left her Cincinnati roots to begin her time as a Marian University Knight in the fall of 2016. During her time at Marian, she earned Bachelor of Arts in Political Science while obtaining minors in Spanish, Global Studies, and Pastoral Leadership. Marian gave her all of the opportunities she was looking for. She was able to study abroad, grow in her love of faith and service, and receive a one-of-a-kind tailored education.

After graduating during the height of the pandemic in 2020 Ally began a service year in Phoenix, Arizona through AmeriCorps. During this time, she worked with an organization that provided housing and programming for pregnant and parenting women experiencing homelessness. This experience increased her passion for community, and, in turn, sparked a desire to continue fostering the communities that built her.

As the Ohio Regional Admission Counselor, Ally is able to spread her love of Marian University by sharing its mission with Ohio students and families in hopes to show them how impactful a Marian University education can truly be.

What drew Ally to Marian in the first place was its location, vibrant faith life, and the family feel that the size of the University creates. After visiting, meeting with professors, and seeing that personalized attention lived out, that she had heard so many often talk about, Ally knew that Marian University would be the best fit for her. When given the opportunity to come back and work for Marian, it was truly something she couldn’t pass up!

Favorite pastimes…

In my free time I love to hike and be outdoors. I love having new hobbies, currently I’ve been learning the art of Scrapbooking. I also can be very much a homebody, so I love hosting friends and family at my house and making a meal for them.

Graduated from...

I am a 2020 graduate of Marian University and studied Political Science during my time here with minors in Spanish, Global Studies, and Pastoral Leadership.

Favorite animal is…

I’ve always love Polar Bears!

If I could go anywhere, I'd visit…

I would love to visit and hike Patagonia mountains in Chile.

Best college memory would be…

When it rained so much on campus that the Amphitheater turned into a swimming pool! We all took advantage and had students from just about every residence hall outside playing and swimming in the rain together.

Best advice…

Take advantage of all of the wonderful opportunities college has to offer. Push yourself outside of your comfort zone often and into your growth and adventure zone. You won’t regret it, and it will fill your life with memories you would’ve never expected to be a part of your story.
