Why choose studio art at Marian?

You will begin by building a strong foundation in art with opportunities to grow your knowledge and skills in both two- and three-dimensional media. Access to our studio facilities 24/7 provides you with the flexibility and support to produce high-quality art in an appropriate environment. Working with practicing professional artist-teachers, you will engage the professional art world through visiting artists, tours of local artist's studios, and opportunities to participate in Indianapolis community art projects.

Our program assists you with developing a mission and vision for your art and articulating how it interacts with the world. Advanced studies culminate with a senior exhibition, professional communication materials, and a comprehensive portfolio ready for graduate school application or a professional position in an arts organization.
