Upon completion of the degree program, students will:
- Lay the foundation for future education and/or career pathways and create a long-term plan for success.
- Develop academic knowledge and transferrable skills needed to gain employment and/or pursue additional education to expand career opportunities.
- Describe and explain ethical issues and apply ethical reasoning in the decision-making process while exploring the Franciscan Values.
- Identify and analyze real world and job-related challenges and research and propose viable solutions and pathways to progress.

The program offers a pathway to continue your education online at Marian. Students may seek to continue into the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing or BA in Health and Human Services upon completion of the associate’s degree.

- Provide all official high school and college transcripts (to be considered official, transcripts need to be sent directly from the institution to Marian University at onlineadmissions@marian.edu)
Have one of the following:
- GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale from the last college attended
- high school GPA of 2.30 on a 4.00 scale
- GED score of 51 or above, or a passing TASC score
