Academic Peer Mentoring

Our peer mentoring program is designed to engage and empower you as a first-year student.

  • We'll connect you with upperclassmen who are available to serve as your mentor throughout the academic year, offering guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the first year of your Marian journey.
  • Our academic peer mentors have been specially trained to help you take full advantage of the university's resources and programs. They also understand what it takes to successfully navigate campus life. We have peer mentors from a variety of academic majors who are pursuing degrees in a range of programs. All peer mentors are supervised by full-time Center for Academic and Student Engagement (CASE) professional staff.

If you've been assigned an academic peer mentor, you can expect to be contacted by him or her a week before the start of classes.
