Biography

Kelly KeanKelly Kean, PhD, FNP-BC is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track.  Dr. Kean earned both a BS in English and a BSN from Northern Michigan University before starting graduate work at the University of Michigan.  While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Kean earned an MS and PhD in nursing.

Dr. Kean has clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, as well as women's health.  Her research interests include women's health care, reproductive justice, narrative medicine, and pediatric end of life care.

Kelly lives in Carmel, Indiana with her husband, two children, and big red dog.
