On April 22, 2012, the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) awarded Marian University College of Osteopathic (MU-COM) “Pre-accreditation with permission to recruit, but not to admit students or offer instruction.” Beginning, July 1, 2012, the accreditation status shall be “Provisional Accreditation,” which permits MU-COM to admit students and proceed to offer instruction beginning in the 2013-14 academic year with an approved class size of 150.
