Amy Williams, Ph.D.
Dr. Amy Williams joined Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Williams received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The University of Tulsa. She completed an internship and fellowship in pediatric psychology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine she was an assistant professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center where she was involved in clinical work and teaching.
In addition to her work at MU-COM, Dr. Williams has a clinical practice in Indianapolis at Woodview Psychology Group, where she specializes in cognitive behavioral treatments to help children cope with and better manage medical conditions and symptoms. Dr. Williams is also involved in research studying psychological and behavioral factors that are related to pain and pain modulation in children.
