He is tops in his field. That's what the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) said about Evan Brown '09. Brown was recently recognized as the top chief financial officer of the year! The IBJ said Brown, CFO of The Garrett Company of Greenwood, Indiana, a multifamily development, construction, and asset management company, first appeared on IBJ's "Fast 25" list in 2018, 2021, 2022, and again this year.
Brown supervises all accounting and financial operations across all ten entities of The Garrett Company, which includes oversight of all 23 active construction projects. Brown specializes in mitigating risk, projecting and maintaining a budget, and a financial reporting framework.
The Garrett Company noted because Brown was one of the company's first team members, he has contributed to all of their significant accomplishments, including the company's recognition, winning more than 60 awards for fastest-growing companies and best places to work.
