Marian University Assistant Provost named Editor-in-Chief of Scientific Journal

Congratulations to Jonathan Lowery, Ph.D., assistant provost for research and scholarship and tenured associate professor of physiology on his selection as the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Reviews in Bone & Mineral Research.

“This international journal published by Springer Nature, aims to integrate new information from both basic and clinical science into the context of clinical practice,”  explained Dr. Lowery. 

In addition to Dr. Lowery's Marian University duties, in his new role, he will do even more beyond Marian as he leads the editorial board in refining the journal’s strategy and distinctiveness. He will also oversee the editorial integrity of the peer review process and advance the journal’s standing in the field at large. What a great way of living of the Franciscan Values!
