Marian University Leighton School of Nursing Assistant Professor Erin Morgan Shines Bright

Congratulations to Marian University Assistant Professor Erin Morgan, DNP, FNP-BC on her  recent publication. Morgan's research article, “Student Success Through Mastery Learning in a Nursing Health Assessment," provides readers the opportunity to apply the education theory of mastery learning to the different styles of assessment used in nursing like practicing skills and receiving feedback.  

Morgan's article also dives into the requirements of the new American Association of Colleges of Nursing Essentials keeping learning up-to-date with new nurses. Her article appears in the Journal of Nursing Education and is a great example of Marian University faculty members advancing teaching and learning in the broader higher education community.
