Colleen Doci, Ph.D. is a Marian University Shining Star as the first ever
Career Champion Celebration award winner! The Exchange, a student career
exploration and development center, recognized Dr. Doci in November 2022.
She was honored as one of the strongest faculty and staff partners from the
fall semester, which is saying a lot, since there were many. Dr. Doci, who
specializes in cancer biology, has extensive teaching and research experience
focused on engaging students.
"We had an opportunity to provide a short presentation where each
member of The Exchange shared one of our favorite partnerships during the past
semester before awarding Dr. Doci for her student-focused efforts,”
said Jenny Morris, executive director of The Exchange. Morris said not
only has Dr. Doci built one of her courses with tremendous collaboration with
their office, but she’s also been a sounding board for trying new things and
ensuring student's needs are met. Congratulations, Dr. Doci!
