University's Fundraising Success Chronicled in the Indianapolis Business Journal

by John Armitage | Nov 27, 2012
The August 30-September 5, 2010, issue of the Indianapolis Business Journal chronicles a fundraising success story at Marian University. The front-page article cites President Elsener's leadership as an important factor in the growth in large, multi-million dollar gifts. The university raised over $54 million last year, compared with $14.37 million during the 2008-09 fiscal year. That effort puts the university among the top 10 Indiana colleges and universities for fundraising success. University officials also reported nearly $130 million in gifts and pledges toward the Make History campaign; the original goal of $68.2 million was expected to be reached by October of 2012.
