On Saturday, October 8, 2011 university officials will hold a ground blessing ceremony at the site of the new residence hall on campus.
On Saturday, October 8, 2011 university officials will hold a ground blessing ceremony at the site of the new residence hall on campus. The building will be located between University Hall and St. Francis Hall.
The ground blessing will take place at 11 a.m. on thesidewalk northwest of the Allen Whitehill Clowes Amphitheater. Remarks from President Elsener, Ruth Rodgers, dean of students, and Andrea Robinson, assistant dean of housing and residence life, will be followed by a blessing from the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, Indiana.
All are welcome to attend and then stay for all of the homecoming festivities, including the football game at 1 p.m. when the #2 ranked Knights take on Taylor University.
