Kassie Koselke '07 Receives Teacher of the Year Award

Kassie Koselke '07 received the 2011 Teacher of the Year award from Pleasant View Elementary School in Zionsville, Indiana. She received a degree in elementary education and teaches third grade.   Teacher of the Year Candidates at Indianapolis Public Schools Vanessa DeVeau '11, an Indianapolis Teaching Fellow who teaches mathematics at George Washington Community, was named a 2011 Top Ten Teacher of the Year by Indianapolis Public Schools. She earned a master of arts in teaching degree from Marian University in 2011.   She joins two other Marian University graduates (and Indianapolis Teaching Fellows) who have been honored with this award in the past: Carol Stone '09, named IPS Teacher of the Year for Building 114 (Paul I. Miller Elementary School) in 2010 and Mike Anderson '09, named the IPS Teacher of the Year for 2010.
