Bobby Knight Visits Campus

Former IU basketball coach Bobby Knight visits the Marian University campus.
Former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight visited the Marian University campus on Thursday, September 15, 2011. While here, he met with his former player and current Marian University director of athletics Steve Downing and President Elsener. Coach Knight is on a tour of the state of Indiana speaking at institutions throughout the state. Last night, he spoke to a crowd at Butler University's Clowes Hall before speaking in Evansville on Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Aiken Theatre at The Centre. On Sunday, Coach Knight will speak on Chadwick Court at Wabash College at 7:30 p.m. Coach Knight, the all-time NCAA Division I men's basketball career wins leader, discusses "life and career events, his mentors, and students he has taught and coached," according to a news release.
