Regina Marks is the standardized patient coordinator. She’s an experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Her background as a medical assistant and prenatal educator has earned her a seat in helping with the three levels of feedback, portrayal accuracy and specifications of each case for the standardized patients (SP) encounters with the leaners. She is responsible for the managing, training and teaching of Standardized Patients for their encounter with the medical students and DNP students. Regina is a member of the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) and she holds certifications in the following areas: fit testing, case writing, feed-back, SP training and simulation. Regina provides an annual standardized patient seminar once a year to enhance the SP program and ongoing learning of the methodology of the SP’s.
