Marian University is our home. Indianapolis is our neighborhood. It matters to us what happens to our neighbors and our community.

And because it matters, Marian University has become a partner in Indiana for three nationally recognized initial licensure programs for teachers—Teach for America, The New Teacher Project, and NativityMiguel Network of Schools—that are changing our community’s—and our country’s—most underserved schools.

In the last two years, we have prepared a significant number of new teachers for Indianapolis Public Schools classrooms in areas such as science, math, special needs, Spanish, and ESL.
