San Damiano Scholar Profile
“Preach the gospel at all times, use words when necessary.” – Francis of Assisi
San Damiano Scholars come in many shapes, colors, sizes, career paths, and religious backgrounds. What binds the scholars together is their desire to integrate their faith in all they do, a passion for making a difference in the world around them, a commitment to serving others, and the courage to listen for how it is God calls them to serve.
High school Involvement
“You have so many gifts to offer the Church and world; your faith, your desire to serve, your spiritual hunger, your vitality, your optimism and idealism, your talents and skills. We can all learn from you, so we ask you to expand your leadership role in witnessing to the Gospel on campus…We look forward to working more closely with you to make the Church ever more effective in announcing the reign of God.”
