The Marian University Knights play in the NAIA semifinals Saturday, December 1 - 11/30/2012

by John Armitage | Dec 20, 2012

For the third consecutive year, the Marian University Knights football team is headed to the NAIA semifinals. The Knights will face the Missouri Valley College Vikings on Saturday, December 1 at 1 p.m. CT (2 p.m. ET), in Marshall, Missouri.
In order to provide your Knights with much deserved support, the Marian University M-Club has organized a bus trip to Marshall. The bus will leave from the Physical Education Center at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, November 30 and will return at 1 a.m. on Sunday, December 2. All Knights fans, parents and family, faculty and staff, Board of Trustees members, and season ticket holders are invited. All individuals riding the bus must be over the age of 12.
The cost for this excursion is $100 per person and includes transportation, lunch, game ticket, beverages, and camaraderie with fellow Knights Fans! This does NOT include lodging or additional meals. We will stay overnight on Friday at a hotel (TBD) near St. Charles, Missouri. Hotel information, including room rates, will be forthcoming.

Families who reserve seats for more than two individuals will receive a $25 discount on those additional reservations.
Checks should be made payable to Marian University M-Club. Checks or credit card information will be collected the day of the trip.
Seating is limited to 55 people and reservations are required. Please contact Cassie Mackell at 317.955.6123, to reserve your seat. We are expecting a full bus, so please make your reservations EARLY.
Those who are interested in traveling to the game on their own are encouraged to do so. Marshall is approximately 420 miles (seven hours) from Marian University. The nearest major metropolitan area is Columbia, Missouri, where you can find several hotel and dining options for Friday and/or Saturday evening.
Finally, if you are in need of any spirit wear for this occasion, the bookstore will be holding a special promotion this week. Stop into the bookstore, located inside Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library, to purchase your Knights gear.
If you have questions, call Joe Polizzi at 317.413.4835 or Dave Jongleux at 317.626.1588. We hope you can join us.
