Founder of Wahoo's Fish Tacos will talk about entrepreneurship with the campus community.
Wing Lam, founder of the California-based Wahoo's Fish Tacos restaurant chain, will visit Marian University on April 10 to talk about his innovative approach to marketing his business using social networking sites. Lam will be interviewed by Marcus Vadus, producer for OnAAiR (Arts Advertising in Review), an Internet-based weekly program that features some of the nation's leaders in the fields of advertising and arts.
Lam is a graduate of San Diego University. After moving from China to Brazil, and then to California, Lam and his brothers combined their Brazilian family recipes with a dash of Asian flair to create Wahoo's Fish Tacos, a restaurant chain that features a Mexican-Brazilian-Asian infused menu with a Hawaiian North Shore vibe.
Lam will conduct the interview and answer questions, after which he will prepare a lunch of Wahoo's signature fish tacos for all who attend. The program begins at 12 noon and will be followed by lunch. The event is open to the public at no charge; donations are requested to benefit programs at Marian University.
