Alternative Break Inspires Ministry, Service

For many students, spring break is a vacation, a chance to step away from the stresses of daily life. But last year, Mary Carper and Kaylee Bluethmann (now sophomores) embarked on Marian University’s alternative spring break to Campton, Kentucky, and their experience wasn’t exactly a walk on the beach. Perhaps for the first time in their lives, the young women witnessed abject poverty - hungry people, living in a food desert, their lives oftentimes made even more complicated by a lack of education, drug addiction, and alcohol abuse.

Classic FM: Radio Hits of the Decades

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra take audiences on a musical journey through four decades of hits up and down the FM dial—from Elton John and Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Adele, and more!

Not only is it a fantastic show, Symphony on the Prairie is hosting its first ever College and Alumni night! Individuals and groups are encouraged to represent their school/alma mater with shirts, hats, flags, etc.—and the orchestra and staff will do the same!

Tickets can be ordered online, however to secure a group area, we must order 30 tickets.

Children: $12 (2-12; under 2 are free)
