I'm New to Campus Ministry

Marian University offers a unique campus that fosters intellectual and spiritual growth. From theatre productions to intramural sports, students at Marian University have opportunities to unwind after days of vigorous intellectual pursuit. Marian University also provides a variety of services to promote success in academic achievement.

Ash Wednesday Mass

We believe the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, that receiving it changes lives, and are committed to worshiping in a way that engages the entire Marian University community and leads to a life-changing relationship with Christ. At Marian University, Mass is celebrated daily and twice on Sundays. Please view our schedule for more information. If you are interested being a liturgical minister please contact Campus Ministry.

Matt Abott Praying

Sacramental Prayer

Beyond Sunday Mass, Campus Ministry offers many opportunities for growing in holiness through the sacraments of the Church. We offer confession daily, prior to each mass and as needed. We celebrate Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament three times a week. Please view our schedule for more information.

Night Prayer

Marian University's night prayer is an ecumenical prayer service that stems from Liturgy of the Hours: Christian Prayer. Each week, the readings, songs, and reflection prayers  are chosen to center around a theme. Night prayer assists students in  prayerfully reflecting upon issues Christ’s followers encounter: bringing our burdens, our worries, and our thanksgivings to our God. Night prayer takes place in the Oldenburg Hall Chapel, Monday nights at 10:15 p.m.

Sacred Choir

Sacred Choir

Are you looking for a dynamic, challenging musical experience that will allow you to share your faith with others? The Marian University sacred choir is a mixed choral ensemble that meets from 2-4:30 p.m. each Friday. Please arrange for an audition with Clare Bain. Sunday mass choirs are open to everyone; just show up for rehearsal one hour before mass begins.

Become Catholic

Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and what it means to live the Catholic Faith? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an experience through which you can explore Catholic teaching, prayer, and life. By participating in RCIA you can receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, and become a full member into the Catholic Church.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is the art of spiritual listening, a sacred relationship in which a director helps someone to uncover and discover the direction of God in their lives.
