Sue Blackwell, Ph.D.

Graduate Tutor

Sue Blackwell has her PH.D. in English Education with a special focus on composition and rhetoric. She has taught high school journalism, English, alternative education, adult education, college writing, and teacher education courses in a 47 year career. She recently retired from full-time teaching at the University of Indianapolis and adjuncts for Marian University in the English Department.

She also played women's basketball for Butler University prior to Title IX. She has six grandchildren, volunteers with the Immigrant Welcome Center, and writes lots of letters to express her perspectives.
