Strands, Supporting Coursework, and Tools for the Toolbox
Candidates attend a combination of four full weeks of coursework during a summer institute and a combination of face-to-face and online coursework in fall 1 and spring 1. Candidates will complete the intensive coursework portion with four more weeks of intensive summer training in their second year during part 2 of the summer institute.
During the mentor program period, candidates will meet weekly with their administrative mentor and meet one Saturday per month for debriefing and additional supportive coursework. Course descriptions and tools for the toolbox to be utilized in the The Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership are not all-inclusive, as final design may include more coursework, study materials, and tools.
