Trista Hart is the newest member to join the MAP staff. Her role is advisor to students at the Keystone Crossing location. Trista, a graduate of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, earned her bachelor of science in communication and marketing in 2006. After graduation, she and her husband, Shane, then a project manager for an apartment building construction company, moved to Michigan. A year later, they relocated again. This time, they moved to Iowa, where she worked in marketing for Dial Properties. Back in Indiana, Trista spent the next two years using her marketing skills to recruit and advise students at another educational institution before coming to Marian University in July. Asked how her previous professional experiences prepared her for advising adult students in MAP, she replied, "My education and my professional experience taught me the value of relationship building. This is particularly helpful in advising MAP students. Being able to help them reach their goals makes my job very rewarding." When not busy with students, Trista and her husband enjoy traveling and attending concerts and sporting events. If you’ve not yet met Trista Hart, stop in and introduce yourself when you are at MAP’s Keystone Crossing location.
