A Personal Approach

How do you benefit from smaller class sizes and a low student-to-teacher ratio? At Marian University, we believe the answer is a career focused curriculum that keeps you, the student, in mind. Biology is a route to many careers: physician, pharmacist, teacher, occupational therapist, and researcher only to name a few. Just as these professions are unique, you are unique and deserve the time and attention to make your academic dreams a reality, which is exactly what you will find here at Marian University.

Research across the Curriculum

Biology students will not only develop a research project, but also execute this project across the curriculum. Student projects developed in cell biology will be transformed in subsequent courses including genetics, biochemistry, and immunology. As students progress towards graduation, they are now steps closer to a research publication and will possess a background of experience to bolster applications to professional and graduate programs.
