Saint Mary Academic Scholarship

  • Full tuition
  • Five awarded each year to first-time freshmen
  • Competitive. Application deadline: December 30, 2011. Requires completion of Marian University Academic Scholarship Application and participation in one of two scholarship competition days to be held on January 14 and January 28, 2012.
  • Minimum 3.75 cumulative grade point average, ACT 27 or SAT 1200
  • Renewable for up to seven consecutive semesters by maintaining cumulative university grade point average of 3.00

Saint Francis Academic Scholarship

  • Half tuition
  • Fifteen awarded each year to first-time freshmen
  • Competitive. Application deadline: December 30, 2011. Requires completion of Marian University Academic Scholarship Application and participation in one of two scholarship competition days to be held on January 14 and January 28, 2012.
  • Minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, ACT 25 or SAT 1150
  • Renewable for up to seven consecutive semesters by maintaining a cumulative university grade point average of 3.00

Saint Clare Academic Scholarship

  • Amount varies, up to half tuition
  • Awarded to eligible freshmen and transfers
  • Freshman: minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25, ACT 24 or SAT 1100
  • Transfers: minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00
  • Renewable by maintaining a minimum cumulative university grade point average of 3.00

Dean's Academic Scholarship

  • Amount varies, up to $5,000
  • Awarded to eligible freshmen at the recommendation of one of the Marian University academic deans
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25, ACT 24 or SAT 1100

James A. Allison Fellowship

  • Amount varies, up to $6,000
  • Competitive. Application deadline: January 6, 2012.
  • Selection based on academic performance and interest in entrepreneurship

Lugar Fellow Global Studies Scholarship

Athletic Award

  • Competitive. Selection based on audition, talent, and potential contribution to the music program.

Fine Arts Talent Award for Marching Band Performance

  • Competitive. Selection based on audition, talent, and potential contribution to the marching band.

Fine Arts Talent Award for the Visual Arts

  • Amount varies, up to $6,000
  • Major in visual arts
  • Competitive. Selection based on portfolio, interview with faculty, talent, and potential contribution to the visual arts program.

Faith and Forensics Award

  • Amount varies, up to $5,000
  • Competitive. Application deadline: January 6, 2012.
  • Selection based on talent and potential contribution to the Marian University speech team
  • Renewable for up to seven consecutive semesters

Grants

21st Century Scholars

  • Full tuition and fees funded through a combination of federal, state, and Marian University financial aid for up to 25 new scholars each year.
  • Must complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 10 and meet Indiana state requirements for the program.
  • Renewable for three additional years for students in good social and academic standing.
